OUR STORY
Stepping Stones is a private family owned and managed nursery in the heart of Hillingdon. Opening in November 2013, we have managed to build strong foundations with our children, parents and the wider community.

We work in partnership with the community, parents and carers in an open and honest way and acknowledge that a good relationship with parents is the key to early development. Come and join us today at Stepping Stones where kids learn, explore, have fun, and laugh!
OFSTED
We provide the right opportunities to surface their vitality, inquisitiveness, and excitement. From 3 months to the age of 5, we help all children to develop at their own pace and to grow in self-confidence as they explore the world around them.

We strive to provide a stimulating, warm, and secure environment where children can develop socially, emotionally and educationally. Our ethos is simple - we believe that each child is an individual with a wealth of potential to be unlocked.
ADULT'S CORNER
At Stepping Stones we value the close involvement of parents in nursery and pre-school life, and work hard to develop strong relationships with our families. Staff are always available should there be a need to discuss any aspect of your child's progress. We actively encourage mums and dads; and even grandmas and grandads, to visit.
We keep detailed records of our work with the children. These are available for you to see at any time. At Stepping Stones we like to consider ourselves part of the family: where nursery is very much home from home for the children and where you feel comfortable enough to talk to us. Childhood is a time to be cherished - between us we can ensure it is. Communication is vital.
Parents/ carers are able to communicate with staff on a daily basis about their child's day. We also invite parents into the nursery when celebrating events or festivals such as Mother’s day, Easter egg hunts, Halloween or sometimes stay and play sessions. Coupled to this, we hold parent meetings twice a year whereby you can track your child’s development and look at their work to date.
We have a dedicated parent committee which allows your recommendations and opinions to filter through to us. Our dedicated and passionate team ensure our standards are always improving.
